Atomic Geometry Poster #435

About the Poster

I must tell you that I wanted to create a more structured poster with simple geometric shapes. It wasn’t fun, and I changed the creative direction to something better I hope.

I started today’s design in Illustrator with vector shapes created with the Polar and Rectangular Grid Tool. I superimposed the forms on each other to see what I can realize with that. I created three grids, and I focus on the last I made because I know myself, I can try it all day. Once I found the grid interesting enough to start doing something, I selected the Shape Builder Tool, and I merged the path together to finally come up with the geometric form you can see on the video.

Of course, I wasn’t satisfied with the style. I continued to experiment with some colors until a find an acceptable combination. I applied a blue to red gradient on every shapes and duplicated the geometry. I turned it until I find a visually pleasing way to present it.

After, I imported the shape into Photoshop to add another level of creativity and bring the design to life — if I can say. For the rest, you should take a look at the video!

I have to tell you that I am almost satisfied with the design of today’s poster. I am trying to say that I am starting a new mini-series. I cannot let that style leave without experimenting a bit more.
If you liked Poster Atomic Geometry, come back tomorrow to discover poster #436! Thank you, have a nice day.
