Atomic Geometry Poster #436

About the Poster

The second poster of the mini-series Atomic Geometry is based on the same process and ideas than yesterday’s design, with some changes. The geometry is more complex and took longer to generate and create.
I started by creating some grids in Illustrator, I superimposed them, and then, I used the Shape Builder Tool to concatenate them. The problem is the time it took to merge forms with the Shape Builder Tools. It was too long. After thinking it over, I tested the pathfinder, and it worked better.

After I finished creating the form in Illustrator; I imported the shape in Photoshop to add effect and play around with the colors until I found something I like.
I added some filters here and here, duplicated the shapes, enlarged it and changed its blend mode.
For the rest, take a look at the video!

Poster speed art

I spend a bit less than two hours on this poster. I spent most of this time on Illustrator creating the shape. I realized a nice poster, but it is not as good as the first one. I take the challenge to overpass the qualities of the first poster tomorrow. Come back tomorrow to discover poster #437, and subscribe to the channel if you like! Thank you!

Music Credit

The song I download today is named I Feel Like Partying Right Now and has been made by Nat Keefe & BeatMower. I feel that I am too often picking the songs from the same musicians.
