A Gentle Tangle — Day 260

At first, I think of the body as something familiar: a posture, a curve, the way weight settles. Then I try to loosen that certainty. In A Gentle Tangle 2, I explore a new interpretation of the figure, allowing its familiar forms to become possibilities for abstraction.

Willem de Kooning is an inspiration for this exploration. The body becomes a starting point for invention, opening unexpected connections between shapes and gestures. I want to keep something of its physical presence while giving imagination room to wander. The figure becomes a thread I can follow, lose, and discover again in an unfamiliar place.
