A Gentle Tangle — Day 256

A blue line bends as though following a shoulder through a turn. Nearby, a salmon-pink curve seems to answer, while two small strokes hold a moment of stillness. In A Gentle Tangle, these scattered gestures suggest dancers moving across an ivory stage, approaching one another before drifting apart.

I wanted to explore dancing movements through abstraction, allowing a bend, a loop, or a change of direction to suggest the body. The open spaces give each gesture room to unfold. My eye follows their interrupted rhythm, connecting separate marks into a dance that continues beyond the edges of the image.
