Synthetic Cell Poster #83
The poster #83 is a special design in 3D made with Blender. In the past, I made some stuff with Blender such as a Boeing 747 and its design for a Chinesee company. I learned a bit about Blender and I noticed that I forgot half part of the skills I learned. This is a good reason to learn more about and see what I can bring out from this awesome software.
The design
I create a round in blender, play with the options and came up with a kind of cell or gem, free interpretation. I play with node options to give texture and add color to the cell. I add two rectangles that I set as Emission to create blue and red lights on both sides and I set their brightness as well as possible.
After I finish with Blender I open Photoshop and play with the channel option and then and blurry effect and duplicate the “cell” to create a reflection on the ground.
Pretty simple design with a great visual impact. 3D will definitively become a skill to cultivate in my near future.

Open Blender to create a random 3D shape to use on my poster was a great idea! Because the result is mind-blowing. That brings the poster to another level of creativity and the effect is convincing.
