Today, February 13th, 2019, Poster Design #44, I selected photography by Korean photographer Sunyu Kim of a beautiful landscape of a mountain and sky in autumn—a picture taken in South Korea, I guess.
The photograph offers me such beautiful colors. The gradient from blue to red in the sky and its reflections on the mountain are magic. But the picture wasn’t big enough to fit the A1 canvas I used. I duplicated the image and operated a horizontal symmetry on it. I integrated the second image by duplicating the sky and filling the canvas.
As a final result, I finished this poster by using a white triangle and adding many others with strokes to create a pattern.
Past of a Mountain Poster Conception
If you like this Poster Design #44, you are lucky! I made a Time-Lapse Video Conception where you can watch me working, in case you are curious about how I did it.
