Valentine’s Day

Today, February 14th, 2019 is the Valentine’s Day. I feel I can’t miss it for today’s Poster.
According to me, they are the ones who care and others who don’t. I​ don’t pay attention to ​Valentine’s Day The reason is that I care, my wife,​ every day​ of the year. Every day​ is ​Valentine’s day.

I learned that the celebration of the lover’s day comes​ from the 14th century in Grand-Britain. Because they think the birds choose that day to mate.

I definitively wanted to create something kitsch with a vertical symmetry​. I wanted something with an old look and a bit saturated. The rose in front of Apollo’s head means the pretty words men say​ to their fiancée for seduce them. It also​ looks​ like a mask as a ninja of love.
