It is not enjoyable to wake up late and feel tired in a cold room without an air conditioner or a way to warm it. After waking up, some seconds after leaving my quilt, I ate some fruit, cared for my daughter, and started designing today’s poster.
The Design
Like many Posters I have done before, I didn’t know what to do with today’s design. Even after opening Photoshop and my recording software, I still didn’t know what to do. As usual, I set a background and placed the picture of Apollo—which is maybe not a good idea—on the canvas.
Then, I added the title with a contracted version and a rectangle behind it, and after that, I said many other geometric shapes everywhere.
The poster’s difficulty is selecting the right color and mixing each other — I should review my color theory or learn more about that!
After creating many elements, one of my problems was dealing with the proportions and placement. After making many geometric shapes together, I started to think and build connections between them.
Speed Art Poster #357
It is a playful design, and you can watch me work on this poster in the speed art video tutorial.
See you tomorrow for Discover poster #357. Have a nice day!
