Duo Poster #125

Duo is a duotone and minimalist poster design realized with green and red colors.

The design

To change from the usual pictures I used in the posters, I decided to put Apollo’s Skull and its hand​ — which is probably not but let’s suppose it. I wanted to create something different from the last poster. From a poster which looks​ like a rough draft, I pass to a minimalist one with only a few elements in its composition. Elements such as lines, typography, and images.

After import the pictures in Photoshop, I go in Filters, Pixelate and then hit the option Color Halftone. I set all the same options numbers to avoid delay which generates unwanted colors for this poster.

Furthermore, I apply the same effect to the text “Apollo” after I modify it a bit with a transformation filter. Finally, I arrange text, images including lines to fit together and try different positioning.
