“Duo” is a duotone and minimalist poster design realized with green and red colors.
The design
To change from the usual pictures I used in the posters, I decided to put Apollo’s Skull and its hand —which is probably not, but let’s suppose it is. I wanted to create something different from the last poster. From a poster that looked like a rough draft, I went to a minimalist one with only a few composition elements- lines, typography, and images.
After importing the pictures in Photoshop, I go to Filters, Pixelate, and then hit the option Color Halftone. I set all the same option numbers to avoid delay, which generates unwanted colors for this poster.
Furthermore, I applied the same effect to the text “Apollo” after modifying it with a transformation filter. Finally, I arrange text, images, and lines to fit together and try different positioning.
