Delicate Failure 5 — Day 272
Deep blue and charcoal gather at the upper left, meeting a broad cream shape on the right. A coral band draws the eye towards a long mustard passage, which ends in a burst of yellow. Around them, grey, muted pink, and brown seem to settle into the spaces that remain.
In Delicate Failure 5, I find something vulnerable in the way these broad forms touch. Their uneven edges and small overlaps keep the arrangement from feeling fixed. Each colour carries a different weight, changing how its neighbours appear. Together, they suggest a quiet moment of adjustment, as though each were finding the space it needs to belong.
