Delicate Failure 4 — Day 271
A dark sweep descends from the upper left, crossing bands of blue and grey. On the right, a broad coral form rises through cream and peach gestures, while yellow and ochre flicker between the heavier marks. In Delicate Failure 4, the surface feels caught in an exchange that keeps changing direction. I find its delicacy in the small interruptions: a thin loop, a pale crossing, a brief opening. They give the eye a way through the density, connecting larger shapes that seem to pull in different directions.
