For this February 16th, 2019 Poster Design, I allowed myself to choose one more topic about space.
I started this poster with the idea of representing the feelings of someone single after Valentine’s Day. After warming myself up by pushing, I quickly explored something else, including some creative filter options on Apollo’s head.
I know! This odd geometric form is unique and doesn’t look like Apollo’s head. As you will notice in the video speed art, its picture was used to create this form. Once the form was made, I played with the colors I painted on a premade gradient.
After finding my colors, I used a picture of the sky as the background. I added the same picture on the form’s top to create an effect of depth and immersion. Finally, I made many linesaround it like vibrations. They look dynamic and resonate into space.
Birth of Something Speed Art

Have a nice day, and come here tomorrow for poster design #47.
