About the Poster
The second poster of the mini-series Atomic Geometry is based on the same process and ideas as yesterday’s design, with some changes. The geometry is more complex and takes longer to generate and create.
I started by creating some grids in Illustrator, superimposing them, and then using the Shape Builder Tool to concatenate them. The problem is the time it took to merge forms with the Shape Builder Tools—it was too long. After thinking it over, I tested the Pathfinder, and it worked better.
After creating the form in Illustrator, I imported the shape in Photoshop to add effect and play around with the colors until I found something I liked.
I added some filters here and here, duplicated the shapes, enlarged them, and changed their blend mode.

Poster speed art
I spent less than two hours on this poster, most of which was creating the shape in Illustrator. I realized a nice poster is not as good as the first one. I am taking on the challenge to surpass the qualities of the first poster tomorrow. Come back tomorrow to discover poster #437, and subscribe to the channel if you like! Thank you!
Music Credit
The song I downloaded today is named I Feel Like Partying Right Now and has been made by Nat Keefe & BeatMower. I am too often picking the songs from the same musicians.
