I tried something new about Apollo 365° and the rules I established earlier this year. I said I would make all the posters with the font Molde. But what about using another font with this one? How about getting a fresh font pairing for the poster? I did it today with Universalis Poster. The font I used is TT Square.
The Design
I started by importing the picture of Apollo. I then went to the option Filter, Liquify, and played around with the brush to modify the image into a circle that I placed in the center of the canvas.
Then, I played with typography; I added some light blue brush colors that I passed under a Gaussian Blur Filter with a new layer above set with Noise. I also added a line with a white stroke and a shadow inside the abstract shapes.
I suggested a square around the circle made of the picture of Apollo in the center. The focal point is in the center of the poster. The form is heavy, and she lets her breath with the thin typography. I also contrast this shape with a rectangle on the bottom and thin lines on the top right. The center of the shape in the middle missed something. I added this weird and orange form to add something interesting and strange. Hey! It’s coming from the space!
Speed Art Poster #193
I am satisfied with today’s poster and hope you will enjoy Speed Art video number 193!
It is the perfect way to know how I designed the Universalis Poster.
See you tomorrow for poster number 194!
