There are days when you need your weekend. Separating life from work is sometimes not obvious when you have a large project to design and people to manage. Whatever, you know I take the time to design a poster daily, right? Here is Poster Transition #6.
The Design
Today’s creation is another poster that I am proud to present because of its quality. When a design surprises me, I estimate it is sufficient to show it to the world — with the hope it will love and spread it.
I used the three identical images of Apollo and placed them as a triangle. At that time, I knew what I would do with them and how the “effect of transition” would interact between them three.
The idea was there. After getting it, the problem was implementing it on the canvas and making it look good. Fortunately, it happened smoothly without any significant challenges, except for the effects on the sides, which use angles. It caused me some trouble placing it correctly on the Apollo on top of the canvas.
The visual is good, and I am satisfied with today’s design. I added some shadows to bring more depth to the poster and integrate elements better. The triangle special effect that I call “Transition” has a good impact on the poster, and the typography I placed behind it is interesting. I put every element carefully on the canvas. Now that I said that, I am unsure about the effect I had on Apollo’s eyes because it breaks the angles with its horizontal quality. But, it is too late now, I did it!
Speed Art Poster #257
