Thermal Equilibrium explores the delicate balance between opposing forces through the language of color. Cool blues and muted grays converge with vibrant reds, oranges, and yellows, creating a dynamic field where warmth and coldness coexist rather than compete. Expressive brushstrokes overlap and dissolve into one another, suggesting the continuous exchange of energy that defines equilibrium.
Created as part of my daily abstract art practice on Day 182, this digital painting reflects the idea that contrast does not always lead to conflict. Instead, opposing elements can find harmony through movement, adaptation, and mutual influence. The composition invites viewers to experience the tension and serenity that emerge when differences reach a state of balance.
