The Weight of Contact — Day 275
A pale blue form leans into grey, its curved edge meeting the sharper angles around it. Black contours hold the shapes close, while a narrow red passage draws the eye down their meeting point. In The Weight of Contact, I’m drawn to how this small area of colour concentrates the tension of the whole arrangement. Ochre and deep blue add weight, and a tiny yellow triangle catches the eye below. The forms seem to rest against one another, suggesting the quiet pressure of closeness and the way one presence can change another.
