About the Poster
As you can notice, I created a minimalist poster today with a few subtle elements, such as the typography that I applied to the Spherize Filter to bring dimension to the title.
To create the rectangle that covers the skull eyes, I selected the Rectangle Tool, made a rectangle, and filled it with an iridescent gradient. I created a black layer, applied the Filter Noise, and selected a 13 px area inside the layer to copy and paste on another layer. Then I hit the Command + T shortcut to transform — I expanded it in this case. Then, I selected a Blend Mode to fit with the rectangle. To polish that effect, I selected the Smudge Tool and erased the two corners on the top because I didn’t want the rectangle to look too straight.
