Static Geometry explores the tension between stability and movement through a reduced arrangement of shapes, colors, and gestures. Large angular forms appear to collide and support one another at the same time, creating a visual structure that feels both deliberate and uncertain. The contrast between the dark mass, the bright yellow ground, and the pale central shape establishes a dynamic balance where each element depends on the others.
Created as part of my daily creative practice, this painting embraces simplicity as a way to investigate composition, spatial relationships, and visual weight. The visible marks and rough edges preserve the immediacy of the process, allowing intuition to guide the construction of the image. Rather than depicting a recognizable subject, the work invites viewers to consider how abstract forms can suggest tension, direction, and presence through their arrangement alone.
