Static Geometry 14 continues the exploration of structure, balance, and abstraction through a restrained yet energetic arrangement of gestural marks. Layers of soft gray and white brushstrokes establish a shifting architectural framework, while vivid pink passages and accents of deep blue punctuate the composition with moments of visual tension. Dark linear marks cut across the surface, creating pathways that suggest movement, interruption, and construction.
The painting exists between geometry and intuition. Rectangular forms emerge and dissolve within overlapping layers, inviting viewers to navigate a landscape of uncertain boundaries and fragmented spaces. The contrast between delicate tonal transitions and assertive brushwork generates a dynamic rhythm, transforming simple shapes into an evolving field of relationships.
As part of the Static Geometry series, this work investigates how structure can remain fluid, where geometry becomes less about precision and more about perception, memory, and the act of discovery through paint.
