Static Geometry 12 continues the exploration of structure through abstraction, where broad painterly marks collide and overlap to create a sense of balance within apparent disorder. Layers of luminous pink, deep blue, charcoal black, and soft gray interact across the surface, forming a visual architecture built entirely from gesture and color.
The composition suggests fragments of a hidden framework emerging from beneath energetic brushwork. Sharp transitions between dark and light areas create tension, while the vibrant pink passages introduce movement and rhythm. Rather than depicting a recognizable object, the artwork invites viewers to focus on relationships between shape, texture, and spatial contrast.
As part of my ongoing daily creative challenge, this piece reflects an investigation into how geometric suggestions can arise naturally from expressive mark-making. It is an exercise in observing how simple forms, layered repeatedly, can generate complexity, depth, and visual harmony.
