I took the time to draw some sketches this month, and here are the results. Without a preliminary pencil sketch, I started drawing with the fine liner. Of course, I can’t erase the mistakes I made and notice while I advance during the process. That’s why some of my portraits have big eyes with the wrong proportions here and here.

The hands of this girl are too small, just like her eyes.

It is my favorite sketch of this month. He looks relatively like the original, and the girl looks fabulous with her hairstyle and eyes.

If you don’t believe this boy’s eyes, let me tell you that you are right. They are slightly too big. I’m sorry for the boy in the picture. I should try to draw him one more time.

I messed with this one. The black shadow near her coat is too dark, or her skin is too white, considering she’s black.

I saw the picture of a cute cat ready to play, and I drew it. I didn’t take the time to make every hair because it was boring. I noticed that the focus was on his eyes—just enough like that.

To change from the portrait I usually realize, I draw the Matterhorn, the most famous Swiss mountain. If the proportions are not respected—something I try to do—the landscape suffers less from them.
