Side by Side Poster #334

Today have been a good day. Wake up not so early and go outside with my daughter to watch some duck playing in water to finish in a kid’s place. She ran many kilometers there and get tired some hours later. I think she took a nap like she never took before.
Then, my wife came and we go to eat something in a restaurant. Everybody had a good time!

The Design

I started to design today’s poster late in the afternoon. It didn’t bring me any pressure because I am done with the big project I talked some weeks ago, and because today, it is the weekend.

I duplicated Apollo’s skull and place the pictures on both sides of the canvas. I took screenshots of Photoshop’s Panels and place them here and here.

I used the filter Pixelate, Mosaic to create the pixel effect I applied on the colors panel, and on the typography. Then, I extended one of them and obtain the colorful rectangle you see in the center of the canvas.

To finish the poster, I created geometric forms that I filled with the same colors as the background, a dark grey to black gradient. I finally placed all of my elements on the canvas to obtain this composition. That’s all!
