Side by Side #14 Poster #347

Today, I am done with my delays! It really feels good!
Except for my account on Instragram and Pinterest. I have a bit of work to do to catch up my late; I will do it before the end of this year — I say that to motivate me only!

The Design

I know! I realized the same kind of poster as yesterday for the simple reason that I liked it so much. I wanted to challenge myself to do as well as yesterday. It is difficult to judge because Side by Side #13 used a more bright and vibrant color. So, the impact was stronger.

On the other hand, today’s poster also has qualities such as its ideas. The first good idea was to slice the top of Apollo’s picture as salami and let some elements pass through.

Another idea was to duplicate a dark part of the skull as a floating element, usually, I use light to do that. What was interesting is the fact it was too dark to add the shadows. I finally used a shadow with the color I used, the green.

The last good idea I got was colorized the right eyes of the skull in green. I know, it is very simple. When you are behind your computer searching in your brain for an idea and something like that show-up, you are happy.
