Today’s poster #102 is inspired by a question: If Apollo were real, what would his dreams look like?
According to me, it is about self-esteem in the way of selfishness.
The design

I started the design by cutting into Apollo’s head, duplicating it, and playing with its shapes. I also searched for two vibrant colors to create a nice gradient. I distorted the font “Apollo” and duplicated the top with the tool “Content-Aware Move” (a tool usually used for photos) to give it a try on a font. Later, I played with gradient and white rectangle forms, including different sizes. I also add little circles and oblique lines on the poster’s corners.
To finish the design, I used a pixel filter on Apollo’s head and played with the blend mode to find the best one. I also applied a noisy background to my layers to unify the look and feel.
Speed Art Poster #102
I only had a short time to design the poster #102. I took up my sleeping time, which is difficult when you get older!
Whatever the time it took to design, the poster is there with its speed art video. I hope it will inspire you or give you ideas about your projects. Come back tomorrow to take a look at poster #103!
