Sea Lava

I go out of my comfort zone with using and deal weird shapes and effects on Photoshop to create the poster design #79. The poster’s title is explicit, he define 80% of the look and what kind of result I will get by choose this theme. I tried to visually translate what I imagine what happens deep under the sea.

The design of Sea Lava

I had no idea about what I will design on the poster #79. So, I start to design like a robot working in a chain work job because I know ideas come by doing — designing stuff. And they finally came a moment later when I started to transform Apollo’s picture and obtain nutty results. I made a background with Apollo’s face abstraction. I deal with geometric shapes that I transform. After I apply blending mode over and a gaussian blur which generates this nice light effect over the shapes.

Sea Lava Speed Art Poster #79

I think you will enjoy watching me working on this poster because it will give you the motivation to do something your way — I hope so. I go from something bad to something good. You will be able to see my process and see how I work and how the ideas came to me through this speed art video.
See you tomorrow for the number 79!
