Today was a fantastic day because I designed a Poster that I like. It is not perfect, but it is not always easy to create ideal stuff in less than one hour—did someone almost achieve perfection?
The Design
As yesterday, I locked myself in a trap by doing stuff I didn’t want to do. Sounds crazy for a self-imposed project, right? Fortunately, I created a geometric form I liked and started my design on this new basis. This allowed me to gain new energy. That also renewed my energy, and I noticed I should play with isometry.
I selected some colors I registered in my library and started using geometric shapes that weren’t isometrics. They gave the global look a weird dimension but generated a nice contrast. Then, I played with these elements to create a playful poster design.
Speed Art Poster #207
I spent around 20 minutes recording myself working on the poster, and when the time came to register the video, I noticed only 6 minutes were available. So weird! I was surprised for the first two seconds and became a bit nervous. The same goes if you don’t have everything of Speed Art Video #207; it is there, ready to be watched.
It was a long day! Have a nice day, and see you soon for poster 208!
