Poster Number 214 is only made with one idea: an isometric waterfall of geometric forms—a simple, effective, and surprising result.
The Design
I created an open square with grey forms surrounded by white strokes, and then I had an idea.
Why not create a waterfall with this square?
I was searching for a way to make the poster enjoyable while doing it. I also wanted something that stood out and differed from the other designs I had already made.
The process is identical to the previous creations, and the shapes are nothing new. It is only the idea behind the poster and the creativity that makes this poster different from the poster I made the day before.
The only problem I encountered was with the large square. The superimposed layers were a struggle sometimes because some geometric forms, such as the river, pass front and behind different top and down layers simultaneously. I found some tricks that you will discover by watching the video below!
Speed Art Poster #214
Today was a creative day, and like all the posters I made for the mini-series “Rounded Edges,” number 8 was no exception!
Take a look at today’s speed art video—it contains some tips and tricks I had to use during the process!
Thank you for coming to check my work. Have a nice day, and see you tomorrow for poster number 215!
