The first of April wasn’t my best day. I lacked the inspiration to create Poster #91, and I had a hard time coming up with something that I could show you without being ashamed.
The design
I started by creating huge geometric shapes on the poster and adding noise texture above them. I added a pink line on the top and tried some typographic effects aroundit. It didn’t work well, and I wasn’t satisfied with the result.
I dig deeper and start using the Photoshop filter effect Liquify on Apollo’s Statue to generate a background with its image. An abstract, interesting background resembles the tree’s growth rings.
If you follow the posters I made, you will notice that I have already used this layout on two other posters because I love it!
