Red Girl Poster #376

Digital art Made with white, red, typography and the portrait of a laughing girl

About the Poster

Today’s Poster Design uses another nice picture of a laughing girl downloaded on Unsplash. You quickly understand why I used the color red everywhere on the poster. I had a little idea what to do when I saw this picture.

I struggled with the cut out of the girl’s hair. Usually, it happens smoothly with the Select and Mask option, but not at that time. The background color was too close to the hair’s color highlight.

When I saw the picture, I had a little idea about the design. I thought I would create a minimalist design again, and I finally let my mind design whatever it wanted. Using geometric forms is not original; instead, I initially use them.

You will notice how I struggled with the cut-out. It took me a reasonable amount of time. The other part of the creation with the geometric form was a formality of the process. So, if you are curious, watch the video below.
Come back tomorrow to discover poster #377! Have a nice day!
