Today is Saturday. I don’t want to work. The wind is strong outside. The windows tremble and let it pass between the small open space. I am struggling to start working on my customer project, but I am late, and they are undecided about some details. I must satisfy them and explore beyond that too. But other than this, I created the Poster #264.
The Design
This poster is escapism about a heavy burden I have made. The kind of things you can’t forget and is almost unforgivable because so heavy, so silly. It was colorful and joyful for the first time, but after wake up, you notice you did something wrong. More you think about it, more it becomes black.
Yes it is! This poster is the visual representation of a silly I own. For coming back to the visual, I created a round geometric shape filled with a gradient. I duplicated the shape and set a blend mode. One more time, I duplicated this round and applied a Gaussian Blur Filter that I put behind the two first layer.
I merged the three layers and hit Command + T, Control and selected the option Warp in the window. Then, I started to manipulate the shape until finding a new form that looks visually interesting. I repeated this process for each form. Later, I added the fond a little pattern made of dots that I enlarged here, and shrink here, to finish by adding different variations of a typeface in between the forms.
Speed Art Poster #264
The app IshowU was a real disaster for me. I am too lazy now to insert a link to the new app I bought today, but I can, at least, give you her name. This recording app — she can do much more — is Capto. The app directly works well and I made my speed art poster video easily.
Thank you to check my work! It is nice to see you here. I invite you tomorrow to take a look at the poster number 265!
