Hello! The Pixel Process mini-series’s poster design for number 8 will soon end. I am thinking about many things I want to continue to explore, but nothing is sure for now. I made the seven previous posters with Processing 3 and a script written by Kim Asendorf.
With these links, I give them the credit they deserve because their job was excellent and helpful.
The Design
Each poster I realize for this mini-series still follows the same process and has approximately the same idea behind it. The look and feel are also well defined by the script Kim created. I only inject some variations. This happens before passing the image to Processing when I create the picture in Photoshop. I can anticipate what will happen in Processing by setting my picture with colors and brightness.
So, I generated pictures from the image I created in Photoshop as a starting point. Then, I imported the photos in Photoshop and tried different dispositions until I found a good arrangement. Today, the process was fast. I turned some pictures and placed them here and here, and suddenly, I stopped to work and looked at what happened on the canvas. I have to say that I admired the piece and decided it was good enough. There was nothing else to add or remove; the poster is good like that.
Speed Art Poster #281
Here is the speed art video number 281 of Pixel Process 8. Follow all the steps I realized by watching the video if you want to do the same design or something similar according to your ideas. I am only experimenting and trying to develop my sense of aesthetics, knowledge, and new ideas.
Have a nice day, and see you for Pixel Poster #9 tomorrow!
