Picture Area Poster #292

by | Oct 19, 2019

I was looking for a free day, and I partially get it today. I decided to take a long moment with my daughter and a bit less with my wife. It was relaxing and regenerating. Play, eat ice cream (caramel salt for me, and mango and lemon for my daughter) talk about life, and projects. Of course, there was crying times, but except some tears it was an happy day spent in family. Don’t worry, I woke up early to made the poster design #292.

The Design

This morning, I had a lack of creativity, no imagination, my brain was a deserted zone of ideas. So, I started as usual. I placed the picture of Apollo in the center of the canvas and started to think about what I will do. I got the little pressure of the “screen recording” while I was trying to think about something to do. I wrote the usual title, “Apollo 365°”. And then, I got a bad idea to inspire myself about poster #291. If you didn’t read about it, I didn’t like what I did, and for the simple reason that I didn’t have an idea, I continue with a style I didn’t like.

Fortunately, I finally got inspired and found an idea to exploit those damned thin lines. If you used Adobe InDesign, you know that when you insert an area for the image, the form you add gets a cross inside from top to bottom on both opposite sides. I use that and let the lines pass behind and in front of Apollo.

Speed Art Poster #292

Today’s speed art tutorial number 292 is very short. It didn’t took me a long time to create, instead it took me a long time to think.
See you tomorrow for poster #293! Have a nice day!
