Here it is! The first poster I created for January 1st, 2019. It is the opening of my challenge to design one poster every day for one year.
I named this first poster Minimalist because it is the first one. I have some work to do, like writing texts, setting up the website, images, and templates I will use during the year, and composing my first-ever video composition.
As stated in my Manifesto, I created the layout using the Apollo statue and the Molde font. I successfully respected these two first rules.
A word about the Poster #1 Design

To resume, I used a soft dark-to-light grey gradient as the background, with a layer with a blur effect above, followed by two noisy layers with low opacity.
Video of the Making Off
I also created the first video of the challenge, which I posted on YouTube. So, please be indulgent. It is not perfect. I will make a song and polish the animations. I keep learning Motion Design!
This is a short make-off of the poster design. I hope you will enjoy it. See you tomorrow for the second poster design!
