La Joconde 2020 Poster #382

About the Poster

Another day which I woke up late. I was working for someone these last days, and I am in a hurry to show you what it was about in a future article. I’ll have to ask the permission to publish the work first.

Some days ago, I downloaded an awesome picture from Unsplash of a girl which made me think about the painting The Joconde by Leonardo Da Vinci. I saw something similar in this portrait, and I wanted to do something with the photograph.

So, I cut-out the girl and duplicated the background to get the higher quality as possible for the poster. Once I finished that, I tried to cut a part of the girl and noticed it didn’t work well. I decided only to use a few typographic elements. After watching the girl, I got the little idea to add a circle over her head which pass behind her shoulders.

If the poster is nice to your eyes, take a look at the video below to see how I struggled one more time with cut-out the model and how I duplicated the background.
Come back tomorrow to discover poster #383! Have a nice day!

The superb photography of the girl I used to create my poster was shoot by Luke Braswell (Unsplash). Take a look at its awesome other photographs to travel a bit!

The song Ode to Joy was originally written by the musical genius Beethoven. I used a remake realized by Cooper Cannell (Youtube). He still have only one video on his Youtube Chanel.
