Knot of Noise

Layered black, charcoal, and grey strokes—graffiti-like and calligraphic—creating an energetic abstract mass with soft smudges.

Day 11,
This work is an accumulation of rapid decisions: marks, frictions, revisions. Lines stack until they form a dense central mass—almost architectural—while lighter zones let the background breathe through. There’s a graffiti-like impulse—raw, urban—but also a calligraphic quality: each curve seems to search for meaning without submitting to it.
The eye finds no single anchor. It enters from one edge, exits through another, gets pushed away and pulled back toward the center. It becomes an image of inner circulation—thought in motion—emotion compressing, then releasing. An organized “noise,” a held tension, like a seismograph recording the instant.
