Another short Poster Design was made with the question, What happens inside a grid?
The Design

What happens inside a grid? That is a good question. I found a kind of answer. I come up with the solution by exploring one of the grids of Apollo’s Posters. The answer is just imagination, an interpretation of my view.
I naturally select the colors of the grids — InDesign gets purple, too; I realize that only now! —and used lines to create separations between the title and pieces of information. I also used the picture of Apollo with a bright blue-green rectangle on the top and set the Blend Mode to Color Dodge. I added some circle grids and more prominent elements, such as the oblique lines on the bottom left of the canvas. I also decided to use white color to sublimate the poster. Only black and gray weren’t enough to complete the overall look.
Speed Art Poster #240
Last night in Switzerland, I became more sensitive than usual during dinner and supper with friends and family. I will take the twelve-hour flight and return to China — I am only sad to let my family and happy to meet my Chinese family again!
As you know, there is no good reason to don’t design a poster. So, it is what I did today, and the speed art video is available on YouTube. Take a look!
Have a nice day, and see you tomorrow for poster #241!
