Minimalist and almost poetic creation realized with the photograph of an abstract painting

In Between Poster #486

About the Design

Creating today’s poster was refreshing and inspiring. It is always like that when you are starting something new. I get inspired by a photograph showing white, blue, and red liquid paint.

I played with the photograph by duplicating some parts of it and past them inside the canvas. I also used the Fitler Liquify on the corners and sides of the picture. I didn’t want them to look sharp and straight. I also tried to do like if the liquid drip outside the picture in someplace, the picture is perfect for doing that effect.

I was about to add many other details here and here until I asked myself the question: is it necessary? It is not, was the answer. Because of the Challenge, I always to do more, spend more time on the design. Like if I am worried about what the people will think about my design. In a way, I don’t care, and, on the other hand, not totally.
