Happy Birthday Love Poster #390

About the Poster

Today was a day where I got to choices about the topic of my poster. The first option I got is about the Chinese Lunar New Year.
The second choice, was about my wife’s birthday. Ok, it was not a hard choice to make, but I had to make a decision. As you see, I choose my wife’s birthday, I wanted to celebrate love and the couple’s life.

There is a long time I wanted to play with more text. My English is still not perfect; long sentences or complex thinking are difficult to translate. Today I tried the exercise and wrote any sentence and words that came to my mind.

I deliberately let the color sober by using a minimalist color palette of two colors. Pink and purple. I also used a Mono Font, don’t ask me why I felt it this way. I wanted the look of the poster to be sweet and smooth. While writing about the design, when it is too late to change something, I notice that I should play more with the title by enlarging the size of the letter and cut the words and let them appear there and there around the text.

Poster speed art

I will — try — to challenge myself about my poster speed art video by creating a new introduction! It will maybe not come so soon, so, be patient and take a look at the video below!
See you tomorrow for poster #391! Have a nice day!
