January 25, 2019, is my wife’s 37th birthday, and I decided to wish her a happy birthday with a Poster Design—it didn’t work at all!
About The Poster Design #25
I know choosing red and pink to represent love is evident. But my wife comes from China, and Red is twice as powerful there.
I played with a Chinese font and a Chinese poem about love, Song of River City, by Su Shi.
The rectangle in front of the eyes means love is blind, and the one in the mouth means love means giving without limits. Together, they form the sign equal, which means equality in a couple.
Conception Making Off
In the video, you will notice that I suddenly changed my design direction to something lighter.
I was about to use big fonts without really playing with white space.
I hope you will enjoy my creative process on this Poster Design. See you tomorrow for the number 26.
