A playful and geometric vector Poster named Gradient Stratum #4. I had a lot of fun designing today’s poster, and I think you will enjoy watching it.
The design
I didn’t use Illustrator to create a 100% vector poster for a long time and lost myself in hundreds of layers. That was good! It was so good that you can’t notice it with the design.
As usual, I opened Photoshop by habit. Then, I realized that I wanted to play with typography, and the best way to do it was with Illustrator. So, I opened the software and started to type my text, which I felt was very dark grey with a white stroke. I duplicated it two times with an offset.
Later, I created two abstract forms and used the blend tool to make around 70 iterations between them. At that moment, I started to see many possibilities and how to play with them. I finally added many different forms around the blended forms with dark and gradient colors.
Speed Art Poster #131
It was a fantastic day designing a poster and so much fun! You will notice it in the Speed Art Video I made. I’ll see you tomorrow for poster number #132!
