Visual of the poster design 402 based on vectors

About the Poster

I am renewing my interest in vectors because I miss them and Illustrator. It was a long time since I didn’t use Illustrator, and I surprised myself by trying to use Photoshop shortcuts.

After selecting the font, I created a square grid to make this poster appear in Illustrator. The goal was to use the grid and fill it with different geometric forms and typography, such as the title, with the right balance. I am not telling you that I found the right balance between everything. It can be improved a lot. I don’t have all day to make the poster.

I have to be fast and focus on the “big picture.” Of course, I deal with some details; some distract me. This often happens, especially after I post the poster online or some days after when I have a fresh eye on it. I can see what I can improve and what’s wrong with the design.

I created a pattern of orange lines to add dynamism to the composition. I also partially hid the font by superimposing a shape with the same color to create a visual game.

I still haven’t heard from YouTube about my “spammy” videos. I hope it will be fine! Today, you can enjoy a video where you can watch me work on Adobe Illustrator! Have a nice day, and don’t forget to come back tomorrow!

Music Credit

The song I selected to create today’s poster, Raga—Dance of Music, was by Aakash Gandhi (YouTube).
