French Kings Louis 14 Poster #153

The poster number 3 of the mini-series titled “French Kings” use the name of Louis 14, The Sun King.

The design

As you notice, the colors have changed from a pink and green to a blue and yellow because Louis 14 was named “The Sun King.” So, the yellow is a reference to the sun and the blue to the sky.

I appreciate the style of the poster mini-series French Kings. That is the reason why I continue to explore and dig deeper about the layout and its construction.

There is an element I drew with the trackpad on the poster and it is the crown. I am particularly proud of​ it because the idea came to mind very simply while designing the poster. It adds​ a playful, fun and organic element the canvas was missing.
