Poster number 3 of the mini-series “French Kings” uses Louis 14, The Sun King.
The design
As you notice, the colors have changed from pink and green to blue and yellow because Louis 14 was named “The Sun King.” The yellow refers to the sun, and the blue to the sky.
I appreciate the style of the poster mini-series French Kings. That is why I continue to explore and dig deeper into the layout and its construction.
I drew the crown on the poster with the trackpad. I am particularly proud of it because the idea came to me very simply while designing the poster. It adds a playful, fun, and organic element that the canvas was missing.
