Embryo
For the February 10th, 2019’s Poster Design I wanted to explore more about strange forms and color like I did for the Poster #5 Dali’s Birds where I explored geometric shapes with the new gradient tool in Illustrator and go a bit further.
I set up a black background. Then, I started to create shapes with the pen tool, filled them with color and paint over it with different colors or shades. I apply a blur filter on a duplicated layer of the shape for add a light effect that emanates from it.
I repeated this process by playing with different blend mode for creating extra depth.

With the pen tool, it is always like a mechanical process that you have to repeat over and over to achieve the final result. Whatever, it was awesome to make this poster and as usual, I had a lot of fun dealing with stuff on Photoshop.
