Disparate Poster #106

by | Apr 16, 2019

The poster #106 is a minimalist and dark design made with some colorful and bright geometric shapes.

The design

These days I am sketching to generate more ideas and feel more confident about the design I am creating. Sketching is magic! They take a little time to make, they free your mind, and all of them inspire me when I take a look at them three days later!

That said, for this composition, I use rectangles all around the corners to set the focus in the center. I used dark colors just because I wanted to do something with some touches of eccentric and bright geometric shapes. The difficulties with light are the reflection and repercussions on other elements. Especially when you have to deal with a picture which already got a lighting source. In other words, integrate the bright forms and apollo’s head was the toughest part of the job.

Speed Art Poster #106

I don’t know where I spend the most time of the poster challenge. Designing or putting everything online? Whatever, here is the speed art video #106. Thank you for watching and see you tomorrow for the poster number 107!
