It was a heavy working day, pretty busy, and of course, there was much to do. So, earlier this morning, I designed today’s poster and made it as soon as possible.
The Design
As of yesterday, I didn’t know what the poster would look like or how I would do it. I opened Photoshop and started to arrange Apollo’s portrait; I added typography, one shape and another, selected the colors, and then continued until I obtained a satisfying visual for today’s poster.
I like the color palette because it is minimalist and very contrasted. I wanted to generate enough superimpositions with the shapes, typography, and other elements to add depth to the poster. The poster is vibrant because of the yellow and the repetitions of the elements here and here.
Speed Art Poster #237
Today was a sunny and busy day. Tomorrow will be worse about time because of the family goodbye, and in two days, even more, with more than twelve hours in the aircraft. It is time to prepare one poster in advance!
