Desert Mirage

Desert Mirage, Day 132 explores the fragile meeting point between dryness and water, heat and movement, distance and illusion. The sandy yellow tones evoke an open desert surface, while the blue strokes cut through the composition like hidden currents, distant reflections, or water seen through a shimmer of light.

The artwork carries a sense of tension between what is present and what is imagined. The brushwork feels loose and atmospheric, suggesting a landscape that is not fully fixed, but constantly shifting under heat, memory, and perception. It becomes less a literal desert scene and more an emotional terrain, where water appears as a promise, a trace, or a dream suspended in the air.
