About the Poster
After eating something, I wondered what kind of poster I would create today. I wasn’t so Inspired. Leaving a mini-series is always challenging, like being emotionally concerned about letting a good idea fall. But that’s the meaning of the Challenge!
I go on Pexels to find inspiration and a picture from which to create a fresh, nice poster.
Then, I saw a pretty nice little fish with eye-catching colors. Its posture was lovely, and the view of the subject was from the top. I felt it was the perfect picture for today’s poster.
I opened Photoshop, imported the fish, and cut out its shapes, usually with some difficulties. The background of the original photo was a gradient from white to light blue, and the fish had transparent shapes on its tail, eyes, and some other place I can’t name in English.
After I finished the cut-out, it was time to care about the background and find a way to mix it with the fish. I selected some colors of the fish and used the Brush Tool to paint circles. I copied the layers with the colors and added a Gaussian blur Effect to melt the colors together. I also duplicated the shape of the fish, painted it dark blue, and added a Gaussian Blur on the filter to create the shadow. Done!
